Created attachment 8891 video of bug 1. Open Thunar 2. Right-Click a file 3. The resulting window that pops up has scrollbars, even though they're unnecessary. 4. The 2nd time you right-click the file, it looks fine. I'm able to reproduce this everytime I go to a new directory and right-click a file. Tested on Arch Linux.
Able to recreate as well on Arch Linux.
This is a duplicate of the second half of this bug report: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15200. Currently a GTK regression that is affecting more than just Xfce. GTK bug report: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/issues/1843.
Created attachment 8956 workaround patch The attached patch is based on Nemo's workaround. I would love to see this fixed in upstream, but it's taking sooo long. For this reason a workaround is our best option, at least for Thunar.
This patch works well. Thanks Andre.
