This is a bug against the forum. Posting here because there is no specific forum product. When changing your forum password, the change password page states: "Passwords must be at least 6 characters long. Passwords are case sensitive." However, when you try to enter a short password (6-8 characters), the error message indicates that the password has to be at least 9 characters. Can we sync these two up?
This seems to be a problem on fluxbb side, between https://git.xfce.org/www/forum.xfce.org/tree/lang/English/prof_reg.php (9 characters) and https://git.xfce.org/www/forum.xfce.org/tree/lang/English/profile.php / https://git.xfce.org/www/forum.xfce.org/tree/lang/English/register.php (6 characters) This will be fixed in next release (?): https://fluxbb.org/development/core/tickets/1126/
