Can somebody make this enhancement? It will be great if the xfce-netload monitor plugin show values for total amount of data downloaded/uploaded by the session, not just the actual. There is just one way to check this totals at the gnome-system-monitor. Thanks. Tib

Found a solution: by setting up the xfce panel with alfa - transparent background and positioning the gnome-system-monitor or nload command with the cumulative total net transmission to the right place below the panel.
