When I manually disable bell using this: 'xset -b' - I also disable 'tab' char in xterm and Xfce Terminal.
They keyboard button works in GUI programs.
Just doesn't seem to work for those two programs in question.

Setting bell back does not solve issue.

I start my xfce by doing this in console:
startxfce
version: 4.12
distro: Gentoo, amd64.

I specifically opened parallel Xorg session with only xterm in it by invoking 'startx'. I invoked xset -b, bell was gone, but tab worked and I could do 'cd /hoTAB' to get into my /home directory and see content of it.

Same behaviour can not be replicated in empty Xorg session with xterm, hence, bug. And very specifically, Xfce bug.
Reproducible every time by simply changing 'xset -b' to 'xset b'

Hi,

I cannot reproduce it here, on my Arch system.

Is it 100% reproducible for you?
What are the steps? Is it just start Xfce session, open Xfce Terminal, run `xset -b` - and Tab is no longer working?

This is odd. After a few reboots, problem no longer reproducible. Can be closed. Thank you for attention.
