I invoke the screenshooter as the panel add-on. By default it is set to snapshot the entire screen, which makes sense as sometimes one may want to snapshoot something fleeting in a hurry.

However, other times, when I want only a part of the screen (window, or area), it is a tedious process:
. Right-click on the add-on
. Bring up the configuration dialog
. Change the configuration
. Save it
. Use the new configuration to shoot the desired area
. Repeat to return things back to normal

Having used KDE's screenshooter in the past, I'd much like XFCE's to have the same options: once the dialog is up with the first snapshot, it should be possible to take new ones -- of different areas -- with neither restarting it nor having to make permanent configuration-changes.
