Description Tonas 2019-04-15 00:38:45 CEST
Hi guys!

Thunar does not have the ability to move the default bookmarks (Home, Desktop, and Recycle Bin). I would like to see this opportunity. What do you think?

Thanks,
Tonas

Personally I dont need such a feature .. IMO very low prio.
However if you can provide a patch, I would review and merge it.

I would attach a patch if I could write them, but alas. I do not quite understand why Thunar does not know how to do this by default, and also does not know how to move the bookmarks down. Can only move to second place from below.

You can replace the hardcoded bookmarks with normal ones. Simply drag-and-drop the locations from the main view or the tab bar to the side pane. Then hide the unneeded entries via right-click on the group name ("Places").

Note: the bookmark for "trash:///" needs to be renamed manually. Also, it will show the wrong icon and lack the "Empty Trash" context menu entry.

Hello, everyone!

I also support this request for feature, but I am unfortunately not qualified to implement it.
