Created attachment 8276 Window switcher showing two instances Hey guys, I checked the box "Configure new displays when connected" because I want the choice prompt when connecting to my external display . However, if I keep this window opened and don't close it, the second time I plug in my external display, it opens in a new instance instead of switching to the already opened one. Any ideas how to address this? Attaching relevant screenshots. Cheers!

The minimal display is supposed to be single instance since this commit: https://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-settings/commit/?id=786c0dc49dd10b092d1bf6d91223d8e148800146 Which version of xfce4-setting are you using?

Correct, but this feature is only available on 4.13+
