Wow, this is looking really weird! Do other GTK apps behave normally? xfce4-terminal uses GtkNotebook for displaying the tabs so it might be that there's a GTK issue that's triggered under certain conditions. How often do you see this bug?

Do you see it again after a reboot?
I did not reboot my computer. That xfce4-terminal window with shifted title is still running because (I hope) maybe you need some core dump or attach with GDB to it or something like that. If I close it and reboot, then I probably can’t help at all with identifying reasons of this error. This is definitely something very rare
Or maybe I need to forward this to gnome bugzilla?
OK, whatever. I closed it. Maybe one day I will get this bug again.
I'm going to close this for now since it's definitely not something that's easy to track. Please feel free to reopen the bug if you see the problem again.
