Created attachment 8092 Screencast of the window menu behaviour The Window menu applet in Fedora 29 has slightly higher default icon than the application icons, and this causes the rest of the panel contents to move up and down on icon change (focus in/focus out). I use vertical panel myself. Seen after upgrading from Fedora 28 to Fedora 29, reported also downstream as bug #1647088.
