Created attachment 8064 Disable search result slide down/up animation I love this plugin but the recent change to slide the search results panel over/under other panels is distracting and superfluous in my opinion. I realize some may like this but please consider reverting the animation. My repeat use case for the whisker menu is (1) hotkey, (2) type one or two characters for the app I want to launch, and (3) hit enter. With the animation on I can't help but notice the sliding down of the search results panel. With the animation off everything feels super fast and responsive with no distraction. Thanks for your consideration and for making such an essential component.

At the very most I would consider making it an option, but there are already so many options that I am not very interested in doing that right now. The more options, the more codepaths and possible bugs.
