Description Miguel Angel Ruiz Manzano 2006-02-14 20:43:19 CET
Every time I use the AC power, the battery plugin displays numbers over 100% of
charge.

After disconnect the AC adaptator, the percentage doesn't change for 2 minutes
and then displays numbers under 100% (normal).

For example, at this moment I have 224% of energy!

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable the battery plugin.
2. Connect the AC power.
3. The battery charge starts and the plugin displays status over 100%.

Actual Results:
The battery plugin displays incorrect battery information.

Expected Results:
Display the correct battery status.

- Ubuntu Breezy Badger (5.10)
- kernel 2.6.12-10-386
- acpi 0.09

I used the battery plugin on XFCE4.3 this week-end and I didn't noticed any
problems. What charge do you have with `acpi -V` or by reading the
file(s) /proc/acpi/battery/*/stat{e,us} ? I think the problem is not in the
plugin but an acpi problem.

Kind regards,
Mike Massonnet.

The charge value cannot be < 0 or > 100. Please reopen if it appears again in the 0.4.90.2 release.
