Hello, I am using Thunar 1.6.15 on Fedora 27. Great product. I have one issue I thought might be addressed. I use the display - "details list view" and the name column on the right side that displays the list of files is always expanding past the window so I need to scroll to the right and double click to bring it back to something that looks better. When it does this, I can't see the other columns such as Size, Type and Date Modified. It is especially a problem when there are files in the directory that have long file names and, when I'm renaming files and the column keeps expanding. So, a little more user control over the "Name" column would be very helpful! For myself, I would rather the Name column did not auto-expand and I could just set the width to my choice.

Thanks

That's already possible !

Go to view --> configure columns

On the bottom there is a checkbox "Automatically expand columns as needed".

Un-check this box, and your columns will just keep their size.

Please feel free to re-open this bug if it did not work for you !
