I think it would be great if we could get xfce4-cpufreq-plugin to be able to change the governor in use. But I'd like it to have a way to not only set it per-core, but also conveniently set it for all cores at once. When working on a system with a lot of cores, setting each one, one at a time, is very time consuming.

Currently you can only view which governor is used, but I want to use the widget to change the governor setting.

Please? :)

Yeah, combo boxes are misleading, users might think they are able to change the frequencies/governors.
I make his words my own: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3428#c4

So, I'm closing this bug in favor of bug 3428, unfortunately I have no time to implement this feature, but I can promptly review and merge a patch ;)
