Xfce 4.8.0.3, installed in Debian 7 Wheezy, at shutdown/poweroff/reboot asks the user if he wants to save unsaved files created using Gedit, Libreoffice Writer, etc. In Xfce4 (4.10.1) installed in Debian 8 Jessie, and in Xfce (4.12.3) installed in Debian 9 Stretch, when doing shutdown/poweroff/reboot does not ask the user if he wants to save unsaved files. The unsaved files are lost.
