I'm testing Xubuntu 18.04; localized to Dutch. 
I noticed that in Thunar in my home-folder most system sub folders occur twice: one in Dutch, the other in English.

I *think* these English folders weren't there to start with; I *think* they appeared once I had made a bluetooth connection with an android phone. But i'm not really confident about this.

Is this a bug I should report against Thunar? 
Or against an other package?
Or is this not a bug?

If you delete the duplicate (english?) folders and connect again to an android phone, do they reappear?
Let's keep this bug as Thunar's for now.

Did as you suggested. Deleted the English folders. Reconnected to the phone.
That did NOT however reproduce the English folders.

So, where does that leave us?

Looking at the screenshot I attached I notice that the time and date of the English folders is March 10th, 19:25:00. So I had a look in my logs at around that time. Just a stab in the dark, and I'm a newby so don't really know what I am looking at, just trying to help:

I've been able to reproduce the situation.
On the basis of the log extract I:

1) removed keepassxc (a snap package)
2) had a look at the folder list (only the localized versions present)
3) re-install kepassxc
4) had a look at the folder list again: english folders are back

I would assume this makes it not a thunar issue; any advice on where to report this issue? Is this a keepassxc issue?

I see, it seems something runs xdg-user-dirs-update with LANG=C, but it's just a random guess.
Since it's not a Thunar issue, I'm closing.
