I'm running xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin from current master and noticed the following CRITICAL messages: When its icon is hovered for the first time: (wrapper-2.0:15561): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_enum: assertion 'G_VALUE_HOLDS_ENUM (value)' failed On every click: (wrapper-2.0:15612): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer instance (wrapper-2.0:15612): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_handlers_block_matched: assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed (wrapper-2.0:15612): pulseaudio-plugin-CRITICAL **: scale_menu_item_set_muted: assertion 'IS_SCALE_MENU_ITEM (item)' failed (wrapper-2.0:15612): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer instance (wrapper-2.0:15612): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_handlers_unblock_matched: assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed (wrapper-2.0:15612): pulseaudio-plugin-CRITICAL **: scale_menu_item_set_value: assertion 'IS_SCALE_MENU_ITEM (item)' failed On every play/pause: (wrapper-2.0:15612): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_enum: assertion 'G_VALUE_HOLDS_ENUM (value)' failed
Interestingly, I am not able to reproduce this. What distro are you using so I can take a better look?
Arch Linux (updated) gtk 3.22.28 glib 2.54.3+2+g94b38beff libpulse 11.1 xfce4-panel from master (020802d) xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin from master (ef5822f)
Closing, I can't reproduce anymore.
