CTRL-C does not work on directory panel

Using CTRL-c and CTRL-v for copy/paste only works on the file view, even used on directories. When the side pane tree view is enabled using these shortcuts there does not work, only the context menu copy/paste.

Looks like for tree-view the bug is fixed in the linked  WIP branch of Bug #16654

Though for shortcut view. things are still broken
