English:

I will be more specific in the options of "change the desktop background" the Spanish translation of the options: "every hour", "every day" and "chronologically" should be seen in capital letters at the beginning as the other options.
Staying this way:
"Hourly"
"Every day"
"Chronologically"
Comment 2 Pablo Lezaeta 2018-02-20 00:19:49 CET
Well it should be "Cada día", you know.

Yeah it get slippedy slippity here and there since look like at certain point I ended be the only one translating Xfce in spanish for a long time.

When I translated the "Cada" option they dont looked like a dropdown menu then, which has changed.
And also I dont find a more specific term than "Cambiar el fondo de escritorio" back then.

Can you point me the xfce module/app to look them up?

PD: Sorry for take too long, life issues and stuff happened.

Español/Spanish

Hola

English/Ingles

Hello

Sorry, I have to explain this better, in the wallpaper options everything is fine translation with the exception of only these words that should start with capital letters:

1 - "Every hour"
2 - "Every Day"
3 - "Chronologically"

I repeat everything else is fine except for those 3 points.

What I meant by "changing the desktop background" was a mistake of mine when putting the quotes. - >> "change the desktop background" << - This does not appear anywhere was my mistake in the desktop configuration expression.

Regarding his message "PD: Sorry for taking too long, life issues and stuff happened."

There is nothing to apologize; XFCE is a great project and you are great people who carry out a beautiful project, do what they love and do it for everyone who loves XFCE.

From my side I will do what I can by testing everything I find!

PD: If the problem was solved, I will close the bug.

The two dots in «In secons:», «In minutes:» and the lowercase are part of the original po file that transifex show so unless they are fixes on the original po then there is nothing I should change that will trully fix the problem.

../settings/xfdesktop-settings-appearance-frame-ui.glade.h:26 is where they start

also this bug is misasigned since these strings belong to «xfdesktop» not the xfce4-setings

The colon in some options means that they enable the value field on the right, so I guess there's nothing wrong here.

@Pablo, I think that we only need to make the options "En segundos:", "En minutos:", "En horas:" and "Al inicio" all lowercase and remove the colon from "Cambie el _fondo de escritorio:", so it's aligned with the original english strings.
Comment 7 Pablo Lezaeta 2018-04-01 05:02:04 CEST
Again the strings are in the same capitalization than the original string, also they are a single sentence and read as one not three different.

If you want change the capitalization it should be open a bug against the original string.
What do you think?

@Pablo, do you agree with my suggestions?
If you are busy, I can update those strings in Transifex.

Strings updated in git master:
