core backtrace

I see this crash a lot in Fedora 27 and higher with xfce4-notifyd 0.4.1

The notification appears to work fine but this crash is picked up by Fedora's automatic bug reporting tool. Both these crashes appear upon just logging into a Xfce session.

Hi, thanks for raising this upstream.
It looks as though those are two distinct issues, one of them should be addressed by this patch: https://git.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-notifyd/commit/?id=112bd7f0b4859c043df6e0c6cfa3052e807210f6

It may make a lot of sense to test the current git master to see if the bugs are still reproducible. If things look ok I can do another bugfix release.
(Please also ask your downstream testers to take a look!)

Should be fixed with the 0.4.2 release.

Please re-open if you can still reproduce this bug with 0.4.2.
