On Fedora 27 I'm seeing several hundred wakeups per second for xfsettingsd From powertop 751 mW 9.5 ms/s 209.0 Process [PID 9535] xfsettingsd --replace --no-daemo This seems excessive. Does anyone know why this happens or how to reduce it?
This only shows up on some machines. My desktop, an older machine, doesn't show this problem but my laptop, a new Yoga 920, does.
Is this still the case with version 4.13.x?
