During installing some sw by "apt-get install" lots of stuff is going through term window. When one wants to check what's going there by sliding horizontal slider up, term screen gets updated all the time by new entries shifting the slider down all the time. Conclusion: it's not possible to check content of terminal window before finishing installation process. Very annoying.
Hi, does not "scroll on output" setting help?
