At least the touch is responsive ;) I think xfce is never tested in touchscreen environment… :)

ok i got it fixed by adding:

XfdesktopIconView.view,
XfdesktopIconView.view:backdrop{
-GtkWidget-window-dragging:false;}

to my ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css

maybe that setting should be forced by xfdesktop?

I can't test as I don't have any touch device.
But GtkWidget-window-dragging seems to be "false" by default: https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/GtkWidget.html#GtkWidget--s-window-dragging

Is your gtk theme set it to true ? :o

Closing this report for now. If you find out why the property is set to 'true', please let us know.
