As stdout is switching, the size of the widget is switching, which is as annoying as bug 12957. At least if the stdout string length is fixed, a workaround is to use a fixed-width font. But that look is not in tune with the other non-fixed width fonts of my other panel items. At least for my mini-script the string length is fixed: sed 's/ [^ ]* [^ ]*$//;s/ /|/g' /proc/loadavg This is genmon-plugin-4.0.0
