Impact release: thunar-1.6.10-r1 (gentoo) thunar-1.6.11 (ubuntu) reproduce: type "http://" in the toolbar It seems that resolving URIs block the UI. The bug is duplicate of bug 9244 and It might be a regression bug.
i can't reproduce with Thunar 1.6.12. Nothing happen when I type "http://" in the toolbar.
Confirmed with current master, you need to type "http://" and something more, example: http://www.xfce.org or any plain gibberish. Normally Thunar just becomes unresponsive for a moment, but I was able to crash it once.
I can't reproduce with recent version of thunar (1.8.7) and exo. Let's say it's fixed now.
Thunar (git master) still freezes for 1 or 2 seconds when typing something with http://, but I can't make it crash, please reopen if it becomes unresponsive for too long or crashes.
