Description jzhg2000 2017-06-19 20:51:40 CEST
Specs:
Aspire VX5-591G laptop screen. Using a dell VGA monitor as my secondary monitor, connected to a VGA female to HDMI male converter, to my laptop.
Nvidia Bumblebee
Arch Linux
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 4.11.6-1-zen

This bug happens randomly. If I put chromium full screen on my secondary monitor, after about half a minute, the monitor starts flickering, and will completely shut off (The monitor says it's entering low power mode as if it lost signal). If I kill chromium from my laptop display, the Dell wakes back up. If I can drag chromium off the secondary monitor, then it turns back on.

I'm not sure which logs to check for debugging information...

This isn't critical, I can just use a different browser, like Opera (which I know is based on chromium, yet works fine)

Hello,

I can't see the relation with xfce4-settings or even xfce ? Do you have more informations ?

Not sure where to check the logs. I'm pretty sure this is an issue with XFCE4, as this issue does not occur on GNOME 3.

Just kidding. Broken on GNOME too.
