Set notification urgency to critical

Hi,

When using a full screen app like MythTV the xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin volume notifications are not visible.

This is with xfwm4 4.12.4 and xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin 0.2.5+30+g1c7b487 running on Arch Linux.

Setting the notification urgency to NOTIFY_URGENCY_CRITICAL does the trick.

Thanks :)S

I'd also like to see this patch incorporated even if optionally.

Setting the notification priority to CRITICAL means that the notification must be manually dismissed. There were a couple of recent releases that adjusted the notifications, this may actually resolve your issues. Volumes notifications are appearing regularly for me over fullscreen videos in Parole and Firefox/YouTube. Let me know if this works for you.

I was using this with Ubuntu's notify-osd, so the notification was automatically dismissed after a timeout.

Based on your comment I tried switching to xfce4-notifyd and it now works perfectly. Thanks!
