When on ntfs volume that is mounted as user-independent in fstab (/mnt/Data) Thunar can't put anything into Trash. It is mounted with options "ntfs-3g permissions,users,auto,fmask=111,comment=x-gvfs-show 0 0". Mounting it with options uid=xxx, gid=yyy would fix it only for one user, but not if several users use this volume. If you perform a search concerning this issue, you can see that it affects a lot of people, some of them mention that other file managers work fine with trash on ntfs volumes mounted in user-independent way - Dolphin for example. In my experience SpaceFM works in such conditions fine too. I like Thunar better than either of them, so it would be nice if it could be fixed.
I don't know if it will help in anything, but i was encountering the same issue (even if the main one from me was about transferring files) and i resolved it by changing the parameters in fstab like that : UUID=XXXXXXXXX /run/media/user/mountpoint ntfs relatime,uid=1000,gid=1000,dmask=027,fmask=137 0 2 hope it can help

But I was speaking about mounting it in a user-independent directory.
