Might me related to: #6902 (which doesn't seem resolved to me, running 4.12/debian, or I don't get the finer points of the bugreport)

When running a dual screen setup, with one screen being a subsection of another*,
It would be nice not to have 2 task switcher lists.
Preferably a settings switch, that produces task switcher list on primary display only.

*) Very useful to have a large screen with a subsection sent to hardware screen capture device. The part of the screen that isn't seen by the capture card, could hold a screencast script.
