Hi,

Find is a fairly common operation that users would probably need even when menu bar is not shown. I think it would be useful if it was included in the terminal context menu together with the Edit operations. I know it can be accessed by showing the menu bar, but some users may not be willing to show the menu bar just for that and others may expect to find it in the context menu anyway and think the option is not available when they don't see it there.

Since the Find dialog lets you search for next and previous occurrences already I don't think it would be necessary to include also the Find next and Find previous options, and they would probably clutter the menu, but wouldn't mind seeing them there either.

Regards, and thank you so much for your work on the app.

Hi José,

Find can be called by a shortcut, Shift+Ctrl+F by default. Doesn't this help when menu bar is not shown?
I wouldn't like to overload the context menu - someone could already think that there's too much in it.

Yes, you are absolutely right. I hadn't noticed that.

I still think it makes sense there as not everybody remembers Shift+Ctrl+F, but I understand your reasoning as well. Up to you, of course :)

You may close this bug if you want.

I guess people should memorize the shortcuts well if they are going to disable menu bar :)

Yes, I will close it for now. We may return to it if there are other similar requests.
