I have a directory of images set for randomly displaying a scaled one every hour as desktop background and vertical images consistently show clipped on the right and bottom (2/3 of the image is shown approximately, starting from top-left corner).

The images show all-right in ristretto, printed and in other viewers and came straight from a digital camera. They are strictly horizontal images with an EXIF orientation tag set to vertical. Horizontal images seem to show right.

I am using a dual screen setup, if it matters, but it happens on both screens.

Although this bug is older, Bug #14360 has nice image that helped me reproduce this bug, so I'm closing this in favor of that one.
Thanks for reporting.
