there are 2 problems with settings in XFcalendar (4.0.3.1):
(1) even tho' Sunday is offered as default 1st day of week,
it starts with Monday & you have to go thro' the trouble
of resetting it to Monday, then back to Sunday, to get it right;
(2) the default is sticky & you have to use the title-bar menu
to get it to unstick: to me at least, this is a bug, not a feature.

(2) is not a bug. It's just your opinion.

I can't reproduce this bug on my system.

i'm using CVS and can't make monday to be the first day of week :)

What is your system and what are the versions of gtk and xfce?
Comment 5 korbinus editbugs 2004-08-13 06:53:30 CEST
At the office I have FC2 and well, it's impossible to have monday as first day
of week in the calendar window.

It's caused by GTK 2.4:

"Since GTK+ 2.4, this option is deprecated and ignored by GTK+. The
information on which day the calendar week starts is derived from the locale."

And I am still developing on GTK 2.2...
Comment 6 korbinus editbugs 2004-08-16 10:47:06 CEST
The option is removed since it's not supported anymore by GTK 2.4. Bug closed.
