Thunar 0.6.3 with a semi-transparent image as a brackground. In 0.8.0 this does not work at all.

Dear Developers,

With the latest version of XFCE4-Terminal the background behabior has changed.

In previous version, you can select a PNG with transparency as a background image and, as usual, you can see the background contents behind the terminal window.

But the newest version ignores the transparency and assumes the background is always black, so when you select a PNG with transparency as a brackground is rendered as a no transparency one.

Look at the attachment I send you with the 0.6.3 version and a semi-transparent PNG as a background image. You can see the content behind the terminal window.

With 0.8.0 version, the content behind is hidden cause the background appears black although the opacity value where 0 in XFE4-Terminal configuration.

Thanks! ;)

Hi,
Let me understand you correctly. You want to have a background image and transparent background simultaneously, correct? And you're saying this was possible in 0.6.3 by using a PNG image with transparency?
