Description Andreas Müller 2016-10-22 20:43:58 CEST
Since update 0.10.6 -> 0.11.1 thunar detailed file view is broken. Single selection works the first time only and after that the selection cannot be changed neither by mouse nor by keyboard.

Verified: With 0.10.6 it is OK / with 0.11.1 error occurs.

Stopping Thunar processes and then running in a terminal reveals this output when the error occurs.

(Thunar:29528): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_tree_selection_set_select_function: assertion 'func != NULL' failed

I found a solution that works for me. This results from a patch way back with this bug: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6230

I've applied my patch here, and it seems like it should be the missing piece. Please check if this resolves the issue for you.

Funky, also experienced that bug - will confirm that it fixes it for me next week.

I just tested mouse and keyboard operation: Thunar is back for me.

Thanks a lot!
