Description Matt Knopp 2005-12-23 17:11:36 CET
For whatever reason my mouse is frequently drawn to the close tab button and as
a result I tend to accidently close tabs all the time. It happens frequently
enough to be really annoying and compounded by the fact that I can't reorder
tabs once they are opened [another bug, in fact].

What I would suggest is to (a) move the X out of the specific tab and over the
the right ala firefox. It seems to be "the right thing" these days. Second it
would be nice if closing would ask "Uhh, are you sure?!". Finally the second
point is bound to be annoying to some people so it should be configurable.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Use the terminal, open a tab, click X, watch everything go away w/o any
prompting, become sad.
Actual Results:
... the tab closed w/o prompting.

Expected Results:
See Details.

There's a hidden option "MiscTabCloseButtons" (see
http://www.os-cillation.com/documentation/terminal/C/advanced.html#hidden-options),
maybe that's what you are looking for?

Hmm, that seems to sufficently work around the bug.

Resolving to WONTFIX then.
