I installed a kali linux with xfce on an old eepc. It works fine except dual screen If I boot without the external vga monitor plugged and then if after the login step I plug the vga monitor then I can successfully setup the extended display. However If I reboot with the external monitor plugged then the laptop monitor will remain blank whatever I do, even if I unplug and replug the external monitor.
