Created attachment 6870 xfsettingsd-debug I was affected by this bug (bug 11107) in version 4.12.0 and the workaround on my current distro (gentoo) was this patch: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/xfce-base/xfce4-settings/files/xfce4-settings-4.12.0-HDMI-power-cycling.patch it looks like it was resolved with this commit: https://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-settings/commit/?id=2233f20a7ec6d7cb7dcc5752d62d98e37d9c21ad however without the cited patch xfsettings 4.12.1 exhibits the same problem, it disconnects the HDMI output permanently when I switch off the monitor, even power saving activation disconnect it permanently. If I manually apply the patch to 4.12.1 the problem dissapears. Linux Kernel 4.7.0, X.Org X Server 1.18.4 CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2830 @ 2.16GHz GRAPHICS: Intel Baytrail (gen7)
