When I am using my mouse I can currently use the Alt key (though I`d prefer Meta; see bug 12821) to move and resize windows. The same would be expected to apply for use of the touchpad. However when using my touchpad I still need to move the cursor to the edge of a window in order to resize and to the title bar in order to move it.
