I can reproduce with GTK+ 2 build but not GTK+ 3 build (gtksourceview 3 doesn't have 'Defaults' filetype). This is most likely a bug in GtkSourceView since it only affects one filetype.

Yes, i think it's most likely GtkSourceView problem.
