Cannot reproduce.

Please try "xfce4-panel -r" in a command line and tell whether the settings have been saved. Maybe the panel crashes when rebooting, so the settings cannot be changed? Or does even the sensors plugin itself crash before/when saving? Can you check your $HOME/.xsession-errors?

TIA

Running "xfce4-panel -r" showed that the settings had been saved and restored correctly.

Reboot and Shutdown/StartUp now works correctly.

No idea why this changed, but I assume for the moment that the "xfce4-panel -r" command saved the settings correctly.

Anyway it seems to be corrected now.

Closing as the issue does no longer persist?
