This is a feature request for mounting CD images directy from thunar by right clicking the file and selecting mount. Also It would be good to have an applet where this can also be done as well. I believe this should support many RAW CD FORMATS (ISO, BIN/CUE, DAO, etc). I've been wanting this feature for a long time.
A disk image mounter is available in a GNOME program named `gnome-disk-utility`. It adds an "open with" entry in Thunar for ISO images and some other formats. I think it is well suited because its dependencies are modest (example in Debian https://packages.debian.org/stretch/gnome-disk-utility), and does not overlap with XFCE which doesn't have a udisks2 disk management program. It is a solid tool that only depends on udisks2/gconf and common libraries. I don't know if XFCE maintainers are okay with recommending a tool from another desktop environment, but that could simply be added as a FAQ item https://wiki.xfce.org/faq.
