window resize bug on dual head setup

OpenSuse Leap 42.1, xfwm 4.12.2-2.2
I have a dual head setup.
I place a window on the right monitor.
If I grep the bottom-right or top-left corner of the window decorations, to resize the window, the behavior is OK as long as I stay on the right monitor. As soon as I move across the border between the monitors, the position of the window jumps to the right.
If the window is on the left monitor, everything is alright.
To be fair, the action I performed is really useless, but the jumping of the window is unexpected behavior.
(using the nouveau driver with: xrandr --output DP-1 --left-of DVI-I-1)
