See:

https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=250

(note: other screenshooters appear not to have this problem)

Known to occur on vanilla BunsenLabs with Compton and xfce4-screenshooter.

Step 1: Grab an image of BunsenLabs and boot into it

Step 2: Press "PrintScreen"

Step 3: Select "Select a Region"

Step 4: Select a region

Expected: Accurate screenshot of region

Actual: Region darker than anticipated. In larger screenshots, the [scan will be visible](http://i.imgur.com/r5ycfZw.png)

This bug is more visible due compton's fading effects and the select region mode currently has no delay to capture the screenshot after releasing the mouse button. In my GTK3 Port I introduced a 1sec delay to avoid this problem.

I cannot reproduce anymore with 1.9.1 and compton default settings, due the 1sec delay.
