deleting a file in /tmp crates .Trash-1000

Simply pressing del on a file in /tmp makes Thunar create .Trash-1000 in /tmp and move the file there which is undesirable for obvious reasons. And that directory doesn't even get cleared if the "empty trash" function is used.
