I often switch between sorting modes. The two I use the most are sort by name and sort by date. The former I mainly use in ascending mode, i.e. from A to Z, while the latter – the other way round, i.e. newest first. So it makes me to switch often between ascending and ascending modes. It would be great to have a single key combination to switch them, after all, to think of it, there are only two ways and there won’t ever be a third, is it not? One key combination will be more efficient than two. The other idea might be to remember the ascending/descending mode for each type of sorting, i.e. so the modes for sort by name and sort by date could be set separately. Then I’d have file list always sorted either in alphabetical order or newest first.
