I find it very convenient to hear short sound with current volume level when I change it in tray either with tray or by drag & drop.

Unfortunately this plugin does not play anything on change, so it's hard to understand what level it is if nothing playing already.

I understand we have visual indicator but that's not enough, specially if we have multiple output devices.

The played sound sound should not be annoying, something like soap bubble popping.

It's a good idea. I would be happy to review and accept patches. Unfortunately I don't have much time to spend on the plugin atm.
