For now xfce4-places-plugin Recent documents list hardcodingly shows last 10 opened files. That is not always conveniently. For example, primarily working with spreadsheets I've opened some docs in pdf. To view recently used spreadsheets I need to start Spreadsheet processor. Or, working with spreadsheets I have to search recently used docs (in pdf) on filesystem. It would be fine to see together with recently-used documents list a mime/application filter. I.e.: show only pdf documents, spreadsheets, plain text, text processor's documents and so long or all (without filtering, just latest used).
