When I open Keyboard settings and try to assign Ctl_L + Alt_L + Return to opening an Xterm, either Ctl_L + Return or Alt_L + Return or Ctl_L + Alt_L are assigned, but never the 3 keys... FYI: - I'm using an Apple KB connected by USB to my laptop. - xev returns correct assignments of each key individually - When using Ctl_L + Alt_L + Return on the laptop's native KB, it generates Ctl_L + Alt_L + KP_Enter and works perfectly to open an xterm.
