playlist is working if you add files one by one and you can reoder them since https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10066 problem comme where you add a full set of files by opening a CD or a directory usually the files in this set have a listening order that should be kept usually this files have names like 01-nn 02-aa 03-cc but the playlist order is weird and lost the order number beginning the file name and you get this strange play list sorted alphabetically but not with the full file name ==> aa cc nn even if the metadata is ok with same number in
I like Xfce very much but that strange Parole behaviour bothers me. 1°I tried with the same album in two formats : wav and flac. If tracks are wav files, Parole show the playlist nn 02-aa 03-cc Tracks stay in order of their number, and they loose their number as they are played by Parole. If tracks are flac files, Parole show the playlist aa cc nn All numbers are lost and tracks are ordered alphabetical. 2° I considered that the workaround should be to create playlists. So i created a playlist in the directory of the album and drag and drop this directory onto Parole. The playlist has no priority, tracks are played in alphabetical order. Only the playlist of the album must be dragged and dropped upon Parole. Hope an answer, what ever it is ;-)
