I am currently using the latest SVN trunk of all xfce4 components. When I tried
to assign the customed menu file to the menu plugin, it seems ok without any
error msg popping up. After restarting the X, the showing menu is still the old
one, and I have to open up the "Xfce Menu Properties" from the menu plugin,
click once on "Use defualt desktop menu file", dont close the properties yet,
click "use custom menu file", then close the properties.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open up the "Xfce Menu Properties" from the menu plugin
2. click once on "Use defualt desktop menu file" (the radio button)
3. click once on "use custom menu file" (below the previous one)
4. close
5. customized menu shows !
6. restart xfce
7. customized menu doesnt show....

Actual Results:
as reproducing steps

Expected Results:
store the settings of the menu, eg. which menu file should be loaded at the
first place

keep the good works !

I too can confirm this bug with latest Xfce SVN. I hope it's going to be fixed soon.

Ok, I think this is fixed in SVN now. Really stupid bug on my part =p. Please
mark VERIFIED if it's really fixed, or REOPEN otherwise, as I'm not in a
position to actually test my fix.
