I'm using Linux Mint 17.2 (V-init), kernel 3.16. When I choose hibernate or shut down in xfce-logout dialog and close the lid immediately - notebook suspends. But it should ignore lid event for this time. It is painful especially with hibernate because I have to wait till the bourbon will finally power off.

I guess it's /etc/systemd/logind.conf fault
